When you write to us, please include your device model, iOS version, and a
short description of the problem (and steps to reproduce it, if you can). It
helps us fix things faster. Please do **not** include passwords in your email.
## Frequently asked questions
**How do I scan a receipt?**
Open the app, tap the scan (camera) button, and take a photo of your receipt or
pick one from your library. SmartSpend reads the text on your device and fills
in the amount, date, and store for you to review.
**The scan got something wrong. What do I do?**
OCR isn’t perfect. Just tap the field and edit it — your correction is saved
immediately. Always review the extracted figures before relying on them.
**Does the app work offline?**
Yes. You can add and view expenses without an internet connection. Your data
syncs automatically the next time you’re online.
**Which languages are supported?**
English, Turkish, and German. The app follows your device language.
**How do I export my data?**
Go to Settings → Download my data to export a CSV, or download a PDF report of
your expenses.
**How do I delete my account and data?**
Go to Settings → Delete account. This permanently removes your expenses,
receipts, and stored images. This action cannot be undone.
**Is my data private?**
Yes. Each user can only access their own data, receipt images are stored
privately, and we never sell your data. See our Privacy Policy for details.
**How much does SmartSpend cost?**
SmartSpend is free to use.
